Sending food to family in Cuba no longer means packing a suitcase and waiting for someone to travel. Today the fastest and safest way is to buy from an online store that delivers inside Cuba: you choose and pay from wherever you live, and the order is delivered inside Cuba, right to your family's door. This guide explains how it works, what to send and how long it takes.

How a food delivery to Cuba works

  1. Choose the products in the store: ready-made bundles, chicken, meat, rice, oil, coffee, toiletries or appliances.
  2. Enter the recipient's details: name, phone, province, municipality and address. With an account you can save several addresses for next time.
  3. Pay by credit or debit card from any country. You see the total in US dollars before paying, with no surprises.
  4. We prepare the order in Cuba and take it to the home. You can see in your account whether it is paid, on its way or delivered.
  5. We send you a photo of the delivery so you can see it reached your family.

What food is worth sending

What Cubans appreciate most is what is hardest to find or most expensive on the street: protein (chicken, pork, ground meat, eggs), pantry basics (rice, beans, oil, sugar), coffee and powdered milk, and toiletries (soap, detergent, toothpaste). If you don't know where to start, a bundle covers the week in one go.

How much it costs to send food to Cuba

You pay the product price in US dollars. In Havana delivery is included; for other provinces the shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on distance. A basic one-week bundle starts at around $20, and a large one for the whole family is around $50 to $60. Also check the deals: there are always discounted bundles.

Tips so everything goes smoothly

  • Double-check the recipient's phone number. The courier uses it to arrange the delivery.
  • Add landmarks to the address: cross streets, house color, apartment number. It helps a lot in Cuba.
