One of the first questions before sending anything to Cuba is when it will arrive. The answer depends on what you send and to which province. Here are the real times, counted from when payment is confirmed.
Summary by service
| Service | Time |
|---|---|
| Cubacel top-ups | Minutes |
| Remittances (cash or card) | Under 24 hours |
| Food, toiletries and appliances | 1 to 7 days depending on the province |
Delivery times by province
| Province | Time |
|---|---|
| La Habana | 1 to 3 days |
| Artemisa, Mayabeque | 2 to 3 days |
| Pinar del Río, Matanzas, Cienfuegos, Villa Clara, Sancti Spíritus | 3 to 5 days |
| Ciego de Ávila, Camagüey, Las Tunas, Holguín, Granma, Santiago de Cuba, Guantánamo, Isla de la Juventud | 5 to 7 days |
Why do some provinces take longer?
It's the distance: deliveries travel by road, and the farther from Havana, the more days on the way. That's why Havana, Artemisa and Mayabeque get them first, while Santiago de Cuba, Guantánamo or Granma need a few more days.
